“Life is like a cup of tea, it’s all in how you make it”

Hi there,
I’m Elaine Ryan.

Thanks for visiting my site and I hope you find something of interest!

What drew me to coaching

I have always had an interest in psychology and human behaviour. People fascinate me and the reason I got into coaching was so I could help others. I believe everyone has something to offer if they are given the support and encouragement to draw out their key strengths. If you want a caring, empathetic and kind ear, then look no further.

Although I have spent most of my career working in business, I have always had a niggling desire to do something that would ultimately help people in their lives. With a background in Advertising and Marketing, every few years I came back to something psychology-related.

I have seen first-hand the power of coaching in my own life.  I have completely rewired the way I think over the last 10 years and can now thankfully see opportunities and new perspectives, where I once only saw challenges!

If you had told me when I was 30 that over the next decade I would run the Dublin marathon, study to become a life coach and entrepreneur, have multiple career promotions and pivots and have various dating disasters before finally getting it right, I would not have believed you!

Working with me

Chemistry Check (Free)

First of all there will be a chemistry check over the phone. We’ll discuss your expectations, I’ll explain what coaching is and if we both feel we can work together we’ll get a date in the diary for our first face to face coaching session. I’ll send you a contract in advance outlining exactly what to expect.

Commitment to 4 sessions

The initial commitment is for four coaching sessions as that will give me time to get to know you, assess where you’re at and ultimately move you forward. Our first coaching session will last 75 minutes where I get a really good understanding of where you are right now and where you want to get to.

Informal and relaxed

Now doing ONLINE coaching.  You can still grab a cuppa for the calls!

I generally meet clients in a Dublin location (city centre, northside or southside).  It is fairly informal and relaxed and you can fill me in on your goals over a cuppa!

Making a plan

For the following three sessions we’ll look at the possibilities available to you and also look at challenges or anything else that’s holding you back. I aim to give you more perspective and reframe situations so that you look at them in a different way. These sessions will last 60 minutes each and if you feel you need additional sessions after the first four we can look at that also.

The Chemistry Check is conducted over the phone and is free of charge.

Each session thereafter is €80 or €300 for a package of 4 booked upfront.
